INTERNATIONAL FOLKLORE DANCE FESTIVAL

Introduction
Since the first staging of this event in 2005 DanceBohemia international folklore festival made a long way. Tens of the ensembles which participated in 2005-2011 have enjoyed this event enormously. The festival is now entering already the eighth year of its existence.
Dance2012Bohemia - like the previous DanceBohemia festivals - will again be a bright attractive lovely weekend bringing together dancers from different countries of the world performances of which Praguerers and visitors of Prague as well as the viewers and public in city of Podebrady enormously enjoy.
Organisers of Dance2012Bohemia are liaising with Folklore Association of the Czech Republic who have other international folklore event Prazsky Jarmark (28th August-1st September 2012) and will endavour to enable the participating ensembles to have the third performance at Prazsky Jarmark when reguired. The dates of Dance2012Bohemia are 23rd-26th August 2012 (Friday-Monday). The main venue of Dance2012Bohemia is the Bohemian capital - Prague but all ensembles will have their second performance in a regional spa town of Podebrady. Podebrady Participation
Dance2012Bohemia is open to amateur dance folklore ensembles with no size or age limit. There is a subscription of participants towards the cost of the festival (see below price chart). Festival organiser

Prices
To participate in Dance2012Bohemia you have an option either to arrange your own lodging in Prague or to stay in one of the festival hotels
A/ If you secure lodging yourselves then the cost of your festival participation shall be 90 Eur per each person in your group and this participation fee includes:

Accommodation is in two or three-bedded rooms in 4*hotels and 3*hotels. Usual solution in 2* hotels is that the two twin-bedded rooms share private facilities.
The price does not include:- transportation (except of return transfer to Podebrady). Please note that we would be happy to arrange transportation to/from functions as per your requirements.
